1900 Century Spanish Revival Stool
A surviving label shows that is was once the property of a Harrison Drummond of Pasadena. He happens to rate a mention in the Pasadena Star-News’ article on the history of the Rose Parade: “Two years in a row, 1913-14, there were men in the court. The Rose Kings were Harrison Drummond in 1913 and Dr. F.C.E. Mattison in 1914.” I think we have a winner.
This very pretty and very useful stool (we will miss it) measures 17″ x 16″ x 19 1/2″. Patina of use and age, but very sturdy. Some damage to one corner. As I said, we’ll miss it.
